What is 311?

What is the 311 call all about? Dial 311 on your phone to reach the Mayor's Command Center. This is your first line of help in solving a problem or getting a question answered about something to do with the city or services. An operator will take your call and try to direct you to the proper place for help or take your information from you for services, etc. You should always ask for an ID number or name of the person who handles your call. Write down the name or ID number, date of call and time of call. Make sure to get a conformation number, as well, so that you have proof that you called. You should also follow up on your call several days later, referencing that confirmation number, to make sure it is being processed.

The following list are some of the problems that you can get addressed at this number. Good luck!

  • Broken Meters
  • Bulk Collection
  • Parking Enforcement
